Beshi's scholars work in mysterious ways, and Illsica is a prime example. Although she is the youngest zephyr scholar in Beshi, she has incredible heightened mental senses which almost seem alien.

Illsica is able to establish a kind of mental "link" between zephyr and relics of the ancient world. Her senses are invaluable for Empress Ursa and the Beshi Crusade, which is why she is always accompanied by several High Legion Ω body guards.

She is either with her armed protection or spending time in isolation, leaving little room to socialize or make friends . While some may feel intimidated by her alien presence, Illsica is very gentle and well mannered if not eccentric.

Illsica was born without sight, which she believes was an offering at birth to compensate for her mental abilities.
